Since it was announced the other night that I'm an ENnie judge for 2010, I thought I'd start up a thread as a way of keeping track of some of the stuff that comes my way. It might be fun for you guys to hear about this stuff too. I know I'll be operating under some form of NDA, but I don't know what it entails yet. Some judges in the past have blogged about the judging process, so that's probably ok. Others have talked about how they involve their home groups, so some of this stuff you guys will likely see over the course of the year.
The 2010 ENnies are for products released from May 1st 2009 through April 30th 2010. As such, a number of products have already been released. I got a couple emails over the weekend informing me that they (the ENnies submissions people) are putting at least one box of stuff they picked up at GenCon in the mail early this week. I've know of a couple things that are going to be in the box. One is a set of Green Ronin's 4e character sheets. The only reason I know about that is because they said they put in the box before they realized it was ineligible for this year. The other thing is "Gaming Paper" and they mentioned it because it didn't fit in the box well and if it shows up crumpled, they don't want me to hold their crappy packing job against the product. Beyond that, I have no idea what I'm getting.
I really hope that Wizards (of the Coast) submits the Star Wars Saga Jedi Training Manual and Rebellion Era Campaign Guide. Those would be 2 books of Star Warsy goodness that I don't have and that I can use immediately to beat you guys about the head and shoulders with.
